Story

I enjoy operating at the intersection of business and technology, expanding the technical state-of-the-art while making it accessible to as many people as possible. As an investor, I work with founders developing transformative deep technology products in AI & robotics, often starting at the proof-of-concept stage.

Before Hyperplane, I started Dexai Robotics, a venture-backed startup using robot arms to automate activities in commercial kitchens, and later sold it to Sony. After selling Dexai, I spent a couple of years as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard Business School, where I helped teams launch new businesses and learn about startup operations. Previously, I also worked as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, focusing on growth strategies and operational efficiencies at large businesses.

My educational background matches my interests: I hold an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut. In my spare time, I enjoy kicking soccer balls with my young son and exploring the northeastern mountains.
